The UK’s greatest indoor ski centre has been acquired after shown developer U+I announced it was to dispose of its non-main belongings in a bid to raise resources.
Snow Centres Ltd, which owns London’s Snow Centre Hemel Hempstead, has included Over and above, which include the Chill Factore ski slope in Stretford to its portfolio.
It’s hoped the sale of the £31m centre, which also involves climbing walls and food outlets, will also suggest Manchester-centered U+I, which is main the landmark Mayfield regeneration plan, will enable it reinvest in significant jobs throughout the country.
Ian Brown, handling director of Snow Centres Ltd, which is adjacent to the Trafford Centre, explained: “For far more than a decade, Chill Factore has created a name as a person of the most iconic leisure brands in the United kingdom.
